Physical Description
When you think of mechanics, automatically an image of a muscular German just might come into your mind. Unfortunately, Rune is not German, nor is he especially muscular. He has flaxen hair though, and sea blue eyes. He is pale and thin…despite living in a desert, Rune has managed to keep his paleness by staying in his shop most of the time. As to his womanly thinness…well, let’s just go with a high metabolism. His fingers are long and deft, similar to one who plays the piano, except that Rune has no interest in the piano. He’d rather be fixing up an airship.

Clothing-wise, Rune buys practical, durable clothing that won’t overheat him. They aren’t especially drab, but if you always thought desert clothing was colorful and flowing, you’d get quite a shock at the sight of Rune. A golden cross hairclip pins annoying bangs out of his face. Usually, you’ll never see him without the decoration.

Personality
Rune isn’t the friendliest of shop owners. He assumes that you know what you’re doing, and know what you want. Unless you explicitly state that you are a complete newbie at whatever you’re doing, he won’t lift a finger to help your sorry ass out. Too bad for you. On the other hand, he does sell high quality equipment, and parts for older models of airships, so you should know what you’re doing anyway.

His voice stays monotone through most situations, and I doubt if he even cares if it annoys you. He doesn’t really care about you anyway, unless you give him a reason to care about you. Being a paying customer, a nice person, a human, or the Prince of Aldmoor does not count as reasons, so don’t even try. Being annoying will get you kicked out of his shop. Loitering in his shop for more than 30 minutes will get you kicked out of his shop. Thank you for your business, and please come again.
History
Born and raised in Kristiansand, Rune was the only child in his family of three. Once school and attendance to a year or two of tech school was finished, Rune set out for Aldmoor to start his shop. He did have a happy childhood, and his parents were pretty nice people, and Rune will write letters to them on occasion, but in general he won’t mention anything about them. It’s not that he doesn’t care- he cares. Just not very much.

The shop he owns is his first shop, as you would think, and his largest purchase. It’s a 3 story building, the first story being the basement, the second on ground level is the main shop, and a set of stairs will take you to a door which leads into Rune’s living space. The whole set-up seems rather practical, and often works out well when Rune has to work late- no commutes, no worrying about forgetting things in a shop a mile away. It really is handy.
Important Information
He likes to hang out in the docks if he has any free time- fish is his favorite food. Playing the violin was something he did when he was small, but he never bought a bigger violin for himself, instead of his child-sized one. He enjoys violin music, though

He looked at the clock in boredom.

Tick, tock, tick, tock

He was used to this feeling. It came with being owner cum cashier in your business. You would just sit there for hours and hope that someone would come and buy something and break the boredom chain. But if you were there to hang out, Rune would much rather be bored than have someone just standing there like an idiot. He'd boot you out of his vicinity before you could wonder what the hell was a pale kid doing at the counter. You did not come to Airship Parts and Services just to stand. You looked around like you knew something, you maybe even bought something. You did not stand in a corner looking more interested in the ceiling than in the wood floor.

He tapped his fingers on the nice wooden counter and looked at the people passing by his door, doing whatever they were doing. Even though Rune definitely preferred boredom to annoying people, he still wished that something would happen, even if he had to kick that something out straightaway. At least it might make his day a bit more relaxing.
