In Depth
Physical Description
Upon first glancing Raivis, one would like that they were seeing a child. After all, the boy is much shorter than your average adolescent. In fact, he doesn’t quite reach five feet. That, put together with his small frame, could almost tag him as a little girl in boy’s clothing. It certainly doesn’t help that his violet eyes are more often then not filled with tears for one reason or another, and his wavy hair is softer than most girls.

His clothing is too large for his small body, and quite obviously not his. Not that he stole them, oh no. It was simply whatever he could afford at the time. His stained shirt has large, billowing sleeves with patches sewed on to the elbows and other various places in an effort to keep it together. A pair of too-large shorts adorn his legs, reaching just past his knees. Suspenders keep them from falling to his ankles, the clasps rusted just enough to be a pain to get on and off. He wears a pair of boots, keeping with the general theme of being too large for him. They seem to almost flop about when he tries running, and are the cause of many tumbles.

Although his hair is soft, it is very messy. Thankfully, a brown cap helps hide it and keep the blond waves out of his way. Where he got the cap is unknown, but he does hold it dear and can get quite upset when it is taken from him.
Personality
One could simply sum Raivis up in on word: Crybaby. When he is sad, he cries. When he gets happy, he cries. Along with scared, angry, disappointed, and nearly any emotion. He doesn’t do it on purpose, it just happens. And it gets him teased immensely, which just makes him cry harder.

Apart from the crying, Raivis is a generally quiet and frightened boy. The fear may be from his size, may be from living on the streets for most of his life, may be from some other reason entirely. He also tends to be on the blunt side when addressing people, which leads him into some interesting situations. He could be thinking about saying one thing one moment, then blurting out something else the next. It all comes from him naturally nervous nature.

Conversing with the boy can be.. Awkward at times. He stutters a lot, which can make him hard to understand at times, and doesn’t catch on to more obscure jokes or sarcasm very easily. Even the most gently teasing can make him confused and upset, thinking that it is all literal and the world is a horrible place.
History
Raivis was never part of the wealthy class. Or middle class, for that matter. In fact, he was born and grew up on an unsuccessful farm. The soil was infertile for the most part, so anything they grew didn’t turn out so well. In general, it just wasn’t happy. That and he had seven siblings who also needed feeding. Being the oldest, it was his responsibility to leave when he was about fifteen. His portion of dinner would be split up amongst his siblings, giving them all a better chance at life.

So his parents saved up what little extra money they had and sent him off to Egypt, thinking that he would have a better chance at live among sands. That hasn’t exactly been the case, seeing that Raivis hasn’t been able to save up enough money to even rent a place to live from some random person. At least he doesn’t usually go hungry.

Likes

-Sweets, a rare treat for when he gets a few extra coins.

-Flowers. Daisies to be more precise.
-Warm food.
-Beds. He doesn’t get to sleep on an actual bed a lot. It’s usual a pile of hay in a barn, or something along the lines of that.

-Sheep. He had a bad experience with them as a child.
-People taking his cap.
-Being teased or bullied.
-Being called a girl or a child.
-Anything remotely scary.
-His horrible stutter.
